Editorial standards (what we expect)

  • Original, unpublished work (no plagiarism — checked on submission).
  • Clear, reader-first writing that answers a defined question or need.
  • Named author with a short bio and a link to a professional profile (LinkedIn/portfolio).
  • Sources and citations for factual claims (studies, reports, primary sources).
  • Neutral, accurate reporting for news-like content; disclose any sponsorships or conflicts of interest.
  • SEO-friendly structure: clear H1/H2/H3 headings, short paragraphs, bulleted lists where helpful, and one target keyword/theme per article.

How to pitch (do this first)

Send a short pitch email to thestylishseo@gmail.com with the subject line: Pitch — [Your Name] — [Short headline]. Include the following:

  1. A 1–2 sentence hook summarizing the article idea and the audience benefit.
  2. Suggested headline(s) and 3–5 bullet points that will be covered.
  3. Estimated word count and preferred format (how-to, list, interview, review).
  4. A brief bio (50–80 words) with links to work samples.
  5. Any photos or media you can provide (high-resolution, license/credit info).

What happens next

  1. We review pitches within 5–10 business days. If accepted, we’ll request a full draft or schedule an interview.
  2. Submissions go through editing for clarity, SEO, and style (we may request revisions).
  3. We will not publish content without the author’s approval of final edits. We keep authorship credit intact unless otherwise agreed.

Formatting & technical requirements

  • Submit in Google Doc or Word format; include images as separate files (JPEG/PNG, 1200px+ where possible).
  • Use one H1 (headline) and logical H2/H3 structure; short paragraphs (2–4 sentences).
  • Provide alt text for all images and captions where relevant.
  • Do not include affiliate links in the first draft; disclose any affiliations in the pitch.
